Getting the correct fit for your insoles, shoes, or boots is important.

If they are too big or too small you will get foot pain and feel uncomfortable because the supports are not in the correct place on your foot, and you will not get the best possible support.

While it may seem an arduous step, and tempting to just go with your "normal shoe size", there are really good reasons to measure your feet to your footwear.

By measuring the length of your foot in centimeters you can match your individual length to the specific size chart you are looking at.

For example:

Sometimes sizes can vary brand to brand.
Sometimes it is hard to tell if sizes are quoted in US or UK sizing as both systems are used in Australia in different situations.
Sometimes sizes are tabled in different formats for different products, which can get confusing.

Our step by step guide will be the "single source of truth" when ordering your Ergonx products online.

STEP 1
SETUP - lay a large piece of paper on the floor and stand on it with heel touching the wall.

STEP 2
LENGTH OF YOUR FOOT - mark the distance from the wall to the tip of your toe on the paper.

STEP 3
ADD EXTRA LENGTH - add your thumb width to increase the total length.

STEP 4
MEASURE - use a ruler or tape measure to find out the total length of your foot size.
