Painful corn between the toes? This is why

Painful corn between the toes? This is why. In today’s video, our podiatrist removes a painful interdigital corn using a number 15 blade. An interdigital corn is just like any other corn — it forms from pressure and friction — but this one develops between the toes. When the toes are compressed together, the skin thickens to protect itself. That thickened skin then creates more pressure… and more pain. The most common cause we see? A tight toe box in work boots crushing the toes together all day. Treatment involves carefully reducing the corn and relieving the pressure. We’ll review this one again in around six weeks to keep it comfortable and prevent it building back up. Prevention is key. That’s why ERGONX work boots are designed with a wider and deeper toe box — so your toes can sit naturally without being crushed. Less pressure = less friction = fewer painful corns. If your boots are squeezing your toes, it might be time to upgrade. 👉 Check out our podiatrist-designed work boots at https://ergonx.com.au #ERGONX #PodiatristDesigned #InterdigitalCorn #FootPain #WorkBoots
