How Overpronation Leads to Heel Pain and Arch Strain
When your foot rolls inward excessively during walking, it alters the natural mechanics of your stride.

What Happens When Your Arch Collapses
As weight is placed on an overpronating foot, the arch drops downward toward the ground. This drop causes the foot to lengthen with every step. As the foot elongates, the plantar fascia—the tough band of connective tissue running along the sole—is stretched beyond its comfortable limit. Over time, this repetitive pulling can lead to micro-tears and localized inflammation where the ligament attaches to the heel bone.
