Why do we use a fuel and oil resistant outsole on our work boots? A lot of tradies don’t think about the outsole of their work boots… until it starts failing. If you work in workshops, construction, mining, transport, warehouses, mechanical environments, or anywhere around fuel, oil, grease, or chemicals, your boots are exposed to more than just wear and tear from walking. Over time, fuel and oil can actually break down the foams and rubbers in a standard outsole. What does that mean in real life?
