Smaller isn't the same as scaled-down

Our Podiatrist changed the shape. Not just the size.

Women commonly need a narrower heel and smaller instep, while still needing space through the forefoot and correct toe length. So our podiatrist reworked the last—the form every boot is built around—to follow those proportions.

Then our Podiatrist kept the Helium DNA proven across our 2E and 4E range: built-in orthotic support, torsional control, shock absorption and serious safety.

Designed by our Australian Podiatrist, Kent Elliot 20+ years seeing what the wrong work boot does to feet, knees and backs.

The boot, scene by scene
01 · The last

Smaller isn't scaled-down.

A women's D-width last reshapes the heel, instep, flex points and forefoot together. The boot follows a smaller foot's proportions instead of simply shortening a men's boot.

Women's US 6–11 · 225–266mm
02 · The safety toe

200 joules. Zero steel.

The composite cap protects without the weight and cold transfer of steel, while the women-specific forefoot leaves room where toes actually need it.

200J impact · 15kN compression
03 · The rearfoot

Lock the heel. Free the toes.

A shaped rear hold and rigid heel counter reduce lift and rubbing. Up front, the last opens through the forefoot instead of squeezing the foot everywhere.

04 · The inside zip

Lace once. Zip and go.

The YKK zip sits on the inside-facing side, protected by a storm flap. Set your lace tension once, then get into every shift faster.

05 · Under the foot

Support isn't an afterthought.

Our Podiatrist's Ultra Soft orthotic, EVA shock absorption and torsion-controlling shank are the result of 20+ years treating feet—not a foam insert added at the end.

06 · The ground contact

Grip the whole shift.

The nitrile outsole resists slip, fuel oil and hot-contact temperatures to 300°C. Deep lugs keep working across slabs, workshops and changing terrain.

07 · The whole system

Every curve earns its place.

Fit, support, safety and movement were developed as one system. That is what changes when the boot begins with a woman's foot.

Comfort without cutting corners

Soft underfoot. Serious on site.

The women’s Helium is steel-free, not safety-light. Its fibreglass composite toe and protective sole system are tested for the hazards real worksites put under—and over—your feet.

200J Impact-tested composite toe

Steel-toe-equivalent protection against falling objects, with a lighter, airport-friendly composite cap.

15kN Toe compression testing

Tested against a compression load of 15,000 Newton to protect where crushing hazards occur.

1100N Penetration resistance

A protective insert helps resist sharp objects and nails pressing through the sole assembly.

300°C Hot-contact outsole

The HRO outsole is tested against hot contact for one minute, and also resists fuel oil and slips.

Before you step in.

The right boot should feel secure, supportive and roomy in the right places—not tight everywhere or sloppy at the heel.

What makes this a women-specific work boot?

The Women’s Helium uses a D-fit last shaped around the typical differences in women’s feet: a narrower heel and smaller instep, with useful room through the forefoot. It is more than a smaller label on a standard men’s shape.

What if I have wide feet or need a larger size?

You do not have to squeeze into the women’s D fit. The standard Helium comes in 2E and 4E widths from US women’s 8.5 up to 16.5. The 4E is 3mm wider than the 2E, so broad and high-volume feet still get an intentional fit pathway.

How do I choose the right size online?

Measure both feet from heel to longest toe, use the longer measurement, then match it to the millimetre length in the size selector. If you are between sizes or unsure about width, use the Ergonx size guide before ordering.

Are the purple laces compulsory?

No. The boot is shown with purple laces, and an extra pair of tan laces is included so you can switch the look to suit your site or your style.

Is the toe cap steel?

It is a steel-toe-equivalent fibreglass composite safety cap. That keeps the boot steel-free and airport friendly while meeting the product’s 200 Joule impact standard.

Can I wear these with my own orthotics?

The boot includes an Ergonx Ultra Soft orthotic insole. If you use a prescribed orthotic, check its volume and fit with your podiatrist; the included insole is removable, but your clinical needs are individual.
